Introduction:-
North Eastern Himalayan Christian Mission is an independent and non-profitable organization.
Its main aim is to reach every unsaved souls and build & establish the CHURCH or the Body of CHRIST JESUS in every nook and corner of the Himalayan Region.
It has been resolved that we, the members of the North Eastern Himalayan Christian Mission, acknowledge ourselves formally a fellowship of BELIEVERS and WORKERS for the extension of the Kingdom GOD.
The existence of the North Eastern Himalayan Christian Mission is not to seize and hold authority over the local Churches, but to promote their works in CHRIST JESUS through Spiritual, Mental and Social upliftment.
The geographical areas of the North Eastern Himalayan Christian Mission will be as follows:-
(a) Darjeeling Hills
(b) Darjeeling Plains (Dooars included)
(c) Sikkim
(d) Assam
(e) Meghalaya
(f) Mizoram
(g) Nagaland
(h) Manipur
(i) Nepal
(j) Bhutan
(k) Myanmar
OBJECTS AND PURPOSES OF THE MISSION
The objects and purposes of the North Eastern Himalayan Christian Fellowship are:-
1. To reach every unsaved souls of North Eastern Himalayan Region for GOD’s glory.
2. To make Christian Faith widely known around and beyond North Eastern Himalayan Region.
3. To proclaim the Gospel boldly, focusing on potential discipleship process equipping the multiplying disciples to be the potential co-laborers for the Himalayan harvest.
4. To try to bring every self-supporting Independent Churches of entire Himalayan Region under the banner of the North Eastern Himalayan Christian Mission for Spiritual upliftment and ministerial cooperation.
5. To organize various Training and Counseling programs for the Spiritual upliftment of every believers of the North Eastern Himalayan Region.
6. To establish Destitute Homes for the poor and socially down-trodden people in the main areas of North Eastern Himalayan Region for the sake of Social Services.
7. To establish Hospitals and Health Care Centres in various places North Eastern Himalayan Region for taking care of the poor sick people.
8. To establish Schools, different kinds of Educational Institutions and Adult Literacy Centres
for the promotion of education at all levels in the North Eastern Himalayan Region.
9. To provide medical facilities and relief to the victims at the time of natural calamities in and around the North Eastern Himalayan Region.
10. To purchase, take on lease, accept as a gift or otherwise acquire any land, building or works, wherever situated around or beyond the North Eastern Himalayan Region, which may be necessary and convenient for the purpose of the Mission.
11. To establish, undertake, superintend, administer and contribute to any charitable fund which may seem calculated directly or indirectly to promote any of the purposes of the Mission.
12. To raise money and funds in such manner as may be deemed fit and proper on behalf of the North Eastern Himalayan Christian Mission.
13. The North Eastern Himalayan Christian Mission will perform all such acts to accomplish all of the above objectives.
